I’ve been thinking about doing this for a while and finally took the plunge after some research! I found Christine, Owner of TES Salons Dallas, and fell in love with her work. Since I already had pretty full brows, I wanted a few spots that I felt were a little barer than others. I have some friends that got this procedure done and seeing how well it turned out it was a no brainer for me to do!
I went to my appointment and got to chat with Christine beforehand. She is such a sweet, southern, amazing esthetician that clearly loves what she does and is evident by the way she communicates with her clients. She explained to me the process pre and during the procedure, and answered any questions I had. She asked me how I would like them done, and began to measure / draw my outlines. She then put some numbing cream on me (thank goodness for this!) and we got to pick out what color we thought was the best match for me.
Once we had the color picked and the numbing was set, the real work began. Christine was meticulous about making sure that every area was perfect. A few times throughout the process, I was able to get up and look at the progress she had made, adjust anything that I wanted to adjust and continue from there. She made it clear that she starts small and can always add on to the edges, which I think is the best approach. It didn’t hurt at all either!
The appointment took about 2 hours altogether and at the end, I barely had any redness or anything, and immediately noticed how different they looked. They were darker, more full, and natural. I was hooked! I couldn’t believe it took me so long to jump on this bandwagon, but I am so glad I did. After my appointment, Christine went over the at home care for microblading and gave me some ointment. I love how informative she was, every step of the way and let me know exactly what she was doing and when. I cannot WAIT for my five week touch up (equipped with a follow up blog post!)
Has anyone else had this procedure done or thought about getting it done? If you are in the Dallas area, I would HIGHLY recommend using Christine – you can find more of her work on her website here!
